COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY OF THE WEEK

ATTIC CASHIER NEEDED

Hospice Attic is an upscale resale thrift store located in Gainesville, Jacksonville and Lake City, FL. All sales directly benefit unfunded patient care, bereavement, and community outreach programs. Attic Cashiers handle all sales transactions and assist with customer service. They also earn gift certificates that can be used in the Attic.
Retail experience is a plus but not required. Ages 14 and up are welcome. An orientation program of approximately 2 hours is required.
And don't forget to log your hours and turn them into your counselor - otherwise, they won't go on your transcripts and Bright Futures will never see them, not to mention other scholarships that want to see you completing community service hours!!

COMMUNITY SERVICE project of the week:

Murray Hill Theatre is a non-profit, faith-based music venue located in Jacksonville, Fl. We are dedicated to providing a positive and safe alternative to nightclubs, by putting on concerts every Friday and Saturday night. Our goal is to share the love of Jesus Christ and to reach out to the youth and young adults of our city.
We are a volunteer driven organization that is always in need of individuals who would like to lend a helping hand. We ask all volunteers to serve once a month for at least four hours. Hours would be served during our show times. We depend on a great team of dedicated volunteers to put on concerts. Volunteer roles would include ticket seller, ticket taker, cafe worker, snack bar worker, security, merchandise seller, and tour runner.
And don't forget to log your hours and turn them into your counselor - otherwise, they won't go on your transcripts and Bright Futures will never see them, not to mention other scholarships that want to see you completing community service hours!!
