The competition is open to students aged 13 to 18 from around the world working on their own or in a team of two or three. The one (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a US$50,000 Scholarship from Google and his or her choice of experience from CERN, Google, LEGO or Scientific American and a trip to the Galapagos Islands with National Geographic Expeditions.
