Through our Huggable Heroes® program,
Build-A-Bear Workshop recognizes and encourages young leaders, ages eight to 18, who provide extraordinary service in their communities and around the world. The 8th annual search for these special kids is now on! Anyone, ages eight and above, is eligible to nominate a candidate by completing one of the forms below or by picking up an entry form at participating Build-A-Bear Workshop stores. Nominations will be accepted through Feb. 28, 2011.
There are many pawsome kids doing great things to help others and Build-A-Bear wants to hear about them! They will award 10 young people each a $12,400 prize for their outstanding community service – a $7,500 college scholarship, a $2,500 donation to their special 501 (c)(3) or a registered Canadian charity cause, a video camera and an exciting three day, two night trip where they will meet the other 2011 Huggable Heroes®.
