Cost: FREE (Breakfast, Lunch, and Materials provided)
- Must be 15-18 years of age and enrolled in a Duval County High School to attend
- Both Forms must be e-mailed to: mhague@unf.edu OR faxed to: (904) 620-2567 by Monday, February 14, 2011
- Only a limited amount of students will be accepted
- Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from UNF.
The It’s HER Business Teen Entrepreneurship Conference is a one-day conference for girls ages 15-18 enrolled in high school. It is designed to encourage financial literacy and help girls learn about starting businesses and managing personal finances through interactive games and hands-on activities. We use successful local business women as conference facilitators/mentors to share their ideas and experiences with the participants. This event brings parents, students, school administration, and women business owners together in one forum and has so far exposed over 500 young women to a whole new world of opportunities.
