CHANGES IN STATE UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS:
The State of Florida has implemented new minimum admission standards for freshman applicants to all Florida state universities. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum 2.5 recalculated GPA and meet minimum test score requirements (460 SAT Critical Reading, 460 SAT Math, 440 SAT Writing; or 19 ACT Reading, 19 ACT Math, 18 ACT English/Writing) Please keep in mind that these standards only outline potential eligibility for admission to a state university. UNF's admission criteria for 2011 depends on the applicant pool and will be higher than these minimums.
November 19 - Priority admission deadline for 2011 freshmen
November 19 - Merit-based scholarship essays due
December 17 - Decisions released for students who applied by the priority deadline
February 1 - Scholarship Recipients Notified
February 1 - Need-based scholarship essays and applications due
April 1 - FAFSA (Financial Aid) Priority Deadline
