Another Summer Program...

UF Young Entrepreneurs for Leadership & Change: Summer Program for High School StudentsSponsored by UF's Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, in Partnership with UF's Center for Precollegiate Education & Training.Are you innovative and creative, do you want to be an Entrepreneur?Are you a Leader in your school or community, looking to develop your Leadership Skills?Do you enjoy helping others and making a difference through Community Service?Are you anxious about applying to college and seeking opportunities to explore college life at the top University in Florida?This is an outstanding opportunity for students to: -earn credit for 2 college level courses (GEB4930: Exploring Entrepreneurship and SYG2010: Social Problems & Solutions) -complete the 75 hour community service requirement for Bright Future Scholarships or IB CAS hours -meet with successful Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, and Leaders (during our Speakers Series, Mentor Meetings, and Venture Visits) -learn how to write college application essays and present themselves in the best light to colleges -meet National Champion Gator athletes -live, work, and play on UF's beautiful campus in sunny Gainesville, Florida from June 28 - August 7th 2009Applications are now available. We encourage students to submit their applications as soon as possible, as we are processing applications on a rolling basis, with a deadline of March 2nd.
